Houston R. Harrison, LUTCF has deep roots in Northwest Arkansas. As a wealth manager, investment advisor and retirement planning specialist, he began helping clients here more than 25 years ago.
Harrison founded Capital Resource Group, LLC, as a full-service independent financial advisory and wealth management firm. He also founded Senior Benefit Group, LLC, an Arkansas Insurance Agency, and HRH Financial, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm (which operated from 2007-2019) under the same ownership umbrella.
As president and CEO of CRG, he earned his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designation from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). This achievement indicates mastery of life and multi-line insurance products and services.
“I believe every client is unique and has their distinct values, goals and aspirations,” Harrison says. “I designed Capital Resource Group to be an independent, product- and company-neutral firm, meaning we are always working to find the best strategies and solutions that are customized for each client’s unique situation.” As a fiduciary for more than a decade, Harrison is required to always act in his clients’ best interests.
Harrison received his Finance and Insurance degree from the University of Arkansas in 1991 and has been honored with numerous industry awards and recognitions over his career. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Ethics Association and provides free financial education workshops to the community throughout the year. Harrison has served as the past board president for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas and is the co-founder and first board president of the Seattle and Western Washington Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
In addition to working with clients in his Fayetteville and Bentonville, Arkansas, offices, Harrison has been honored to be referred by clients to their friends and family in other states. So far he has earned licenses to conduct business in Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Washington, Kansas and New Mexico. If you are interested in benefitting from his help, he can confirm that he is licensed in your state or is currently pursuing a license there.
